The trips start at the sports harbour Getxo. There are several routes, most of them with a low difficulty level. The trips are accompanied by a highly qualificated staff including a professional and long experienced ship master.The vessels can accommodate 7 up to 11 passengers.
We organize two types of trips: One trip where we watch whales and seabirds and another trip where you can get to know Euskadi (Basque country). Numerous whales and seabirds can be observed on our trips to the Bay of Biscay,too. Not far away one can find up to 24 different cetacean species, as well as bottle-nose dolphins, pilot whales, grey whales or fin whales. In this area of the Atlantic Sea there also exist many bird species like e.g. pelicans, petrels and skuas. These kinds of trips can take one or two days, depending on the day being a work or weekend day. On our trips to the Basque country we would like to introduce you to our region from a maritime point of view. Furthermore, our main intention is to inform our guests on the importance of environmental protection.
